Brandon Spencer

We are sad to announce the passing of Mr. Brandon D. Spencer, Sr.

Brandon will be missed by many in the sport of boxing.  His infectious positive attitude lifted the spirits of even his opponents.  He battled Jamal Woods twice in ABA events and it only brought the two combatants closer.  Brandon's explosive power in the ring and his inspirational words outside of the ring will leave the fans and his fellow fighters with a huge hole in their hearts that can never be filled.  The ABA will never forget their first Regional Champion, Brandon "Big Bear" Spencer.   Honoring Brandon with a seat in the ABA Pro Boxing Hall of Fame was a unanimous decision by the board.
